Yasmin H. Abdou is currently the Head of Accounts and Partner at MagnaBlitz, marketing consultancy and digital agency. She completed her BSc degree double-majoring in Marketing and Innovation Management at the German University in Cairo in 2012 and her MSc Degree in Global Management at Antwerp Management School, Belgium. Throughout her academic studies, Yasmin delved into the fields of consumer behavior and digitization, highlighted by her BSC thesis in The Effect of Religiosity on Price Consciousness and Shopping Impulsiveness in Egypt and her Master’s Research on Factories of the Future (conducted in Germany). The BSc thesis research was nominated to be discussed at an International conference at the Ajman University of Science and Technology in 2012 and the Master’s research was taken by the Government of Antwerp, Belgium as a best practice for the digitization of factories. Afterwards, Yasmin immersed herself into the digital field with a variety of clients including BMW, AXA, Magrabi Optical and Total, working on the digital transformations of brands and advising on dealing with consumers’ changing preferences online. Yasmin believes in the power of knowledge transfer across fields and industries. Her exposure to varying industries and countries in research and in digital strategy setting have helped her develop a knack for spotting opportunities for brands that leverage on consumer behavior and digitization simultaneously.
